Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch being served promptly at Noon. The meetings last until approximately 1:30 p.m. Dinner meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. with networking beginning at 5:30 p.m.How can I become a member?

Membership in HRMA is on a 12 month rolling basis. Your membership year will run from the date you join through the end of the month, 12 months later.Annual dues are only:
- $50 per year for current members of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
- All others – $65 per year

Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct for the Human Resource Management Association of Greater New Orleans (HRMA) has been adopted to promote and maintain the highest standards of professional and personal conduct among its members. By joining this Chapter, a member indicates his/her support for upholding this Code and the understanding of his/her individual responsibility to act in accordance with the following items, thereby assuring that all Chapter activities support the development, networking, and educational intents of this professional organization.As a member of HRMA I pledge to:
- Maintain the highest standards of professional and personal conduct.
- Strive for personal growth in the field of Human Resource Management.
- Support the Society’s goals and objectives for developing the Human Resource Management profession.
- Advance the reputation of SHRM and HRMA by refraining from any action which brings discredit to these organizations or the Human Resources profession.
- Instill in the public and other HRMA members a sense of confidence about my conduct and intentions as a Human Resources professional.
- Maintain loyalty to my employer and pursue its objectives in ways that are consistent with the public interest.
- Uphold the laws and regulations relating to my employer’s activities.
- Refrain from using my official positions, either regular or volunteer, to secure special privilege, gain or benefit for myself.
- Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information.
- Recognize that HRMA meetings, events, and/or any other Chapter activities are times for networking and development, not times for sales contacts or self-promotion.
- Improve public understanding of the role of Human Resource management.
Adherence to this Code is required for membership in the Society and serves to assure public confidence in the integrity and service of human resource management professionals.
